Meet The Team

Consulting Practice

I first heard about Arup through friends in the industry who spoke highly of the company’s culture. When I investigated further I was really impressed by Arup’s global presence and its commitment to high quality, sustainable design.

I work in a team called the Integrated Environments Group. This is a multi-disciplinary team of engineers, planners, urban designers, and sustainability consultants. We work with government and industry on the emerging needs of cities and communities. My role is in transport and pedestrian planning.

One of the most interesting projects I’ve worked on at Arup is the Barangaroo development. This was an assessment to predict the number of people expected to work at and visit the proposed site. I was able to contribute towards research, modelling, GIS and reporting.

The flat structure at Arup has been fantastic. There is a willingness to learn and teach that creates a warm and friendly environment. My co workers have gone out of their way to help train me and explain the bigger picture of the projects that I work on. Arup have also been very supportive of any internal and external training. I would highly recommend Arup to graduates who want to learn and contribute as much as possible.
