Meet The Team

Infrastructure Practice
I graduated from Civil Engineering in Melbourne and joined Arup’s Sydney office in the Infrastructure team the following year. In my final year at University I applied Australia wide for a few consulting firms that I decided were worth chasing. I had heard a lot about Arup previously and stopped going to other interviews the moment I received the offer. I can honestly say I have not looked back.
The knowledge sharing capability and culture within Arup is second to none and surprisingly, senior staff are willing to give more of their time to assisting graduates than I expected. If you need it, there are local and worldwide experts that can help solve issues only a few buttons presses away.
The most recent job I was involved was a geotechnical investigation for what will be the longest bridge in Australia. I got to go out on site which was a fantastic experience. Recently there have been a lot of opportunities for site work and I look forward to doing it more in the future.
Personally I think the best thing about Arup is their flexibility: whether you want to be a technical specialist or manager, a workaholic or have a good work/life balance, stay local or travel with work, Arup can make it happen. Your career is completely up to you.
